Tom Cruise – Bugatti Veyron – $1.7 Million

What do Mission Impossible, Vanilla Sky and Jack Reacher have in common? Well, they all star Tom Cruise. Without a doubt, this actor is one of the biggest celebrities in Hollywood. He is famous not just because of his blockbuster movies, but also for his passion for Scientology and his being active in the philanthropic community. As a child, Tom Cruise had a hard time learning how to read, but that did not stop him from becoming an actor. At 19 years old, he already landed his first acting job.

As for cars, Cruise likes high-end ones. One of the most expensive in his collection is a Bugatti Veyron. He bought one for $1.7 million – the purchase no doubt cost him a lot of investment money. There is a rumor though that Bugatti effectively banned him from purchasing another because he was seen in public struggling to open the door of his vehicle, which affected Bugatti’s reputation for manufacturing quality cars. It does seem like a petty reason, but in a world where reputation is king, that could be valid.
