Ben Platt & Noah Galvin

Ben Platt played Evan Hansen on Broadway for the first time in 2016, and Noah Galvin took up the role in 2017. After years of friendship, the two finally announced their relationship in May 2020 and have been giving us adorable glimpses of their relationship ever since.

Platt admitted that he didn’t realize his love for the actor until five years into their acquaintance. They moved things from “zero to sixty,” and the couple began living together with his parents in their childhood home and seeing each other all the time. Platt claims that he has discovered a partner that he truly adores. Galvin credits his partner with helping him overcome his “anxiety and apprehension” about reprising his role as Evan Hansen in his upcoming film. Moreover, Galvin made their relationship public in May 2020 on an episode of the podcast Little Known Facts with Ilana Levine. Platt also said his song Imagine reminded him of Galvin’s “wonderful” way of making their time together.
