Tom Ford & Richard Buckley

Tom Ford has been a familiar face in the world of fashion and film. After all, he is the founder of his own fashion brand, having founded it in 2005. In addition, he has written and directed award-winning films, such as Nocturnal Animals and A Single Man. Outside of his career, he has been closely associated with fashion writer Richard Buckley for 35 years. Their relationship began decades ago, back in 1986. At the time, Ford met Buckley when he was sent to Women’s Wear Daily. Immediately, Ford took a liking to Buckley and immediately hit off. Just a month into their relationship, they moved in together.

Their whirlwind romance certainly lasted for a very long time, despite challenges faced by the two throughout their lives. Outside of their fashion careers, the two have shared interests in many things, including taking care of smooth fox terriers. Throughout their long relationship, they had many investments in real estate all over the world. However, such longevity came to an end in September of 2021 when Buckley passed away.
