Barney Frank & James Ready

Barney Frank is a well-known former American politician. He once served as a member of the House of Representatives from Massachusetts between 1981 until 2013. Frank is also known as the most notable openly gay politician in America during his time in Congress. He’s also the first openly gay congressman in the entire United States to be in a same-gender marriage.

Frank married his longtime partner, James Ready, back in 2012. Their wedding ceremony was officiated by Massachusetts Governor Deval L. Patrick, and it was certainly a lovely ceremony. The politician is already 72 years of age and three decades older than Ready, but you could say that age is just a number for these two lovebirds. They met back in 2005 during a political fundraiser, and the rest is history. Both are still happily married to this day, and both deserve a ton of credit for their blissful marriage.
