Barbi Benton – 71 – Retired

Born to a doctor father and an investment counselor mother, Barbi Benton did not suffer financially. However, she did start modeling at 16 and attended UCLA while pursuing her dream of becoming a veterinarian. Not being able to stand blood, she eventually gave up. The budding model then entered into a relationship with Hugh Hefner, who helped her with her career. Later on, Benton starred in the comedy series Hee Haw. She also released several albums in the 1970s that saw moderate commercial success.

Realizing she needed to focus on family, the model retired from the industry to focus on parenting her two children. As a devoted mother to Alexander and Ariana, she made sure that her children were well-provided for. Now that the two are grown up, Benton and her husband George Gradow split their time between their Los Angeles home and Aspen house.
