Cora Sue Collins – 94

If we are to talk about the golden age of Hollywood, many shall recall how Cora Sue Collins has made a name as a child actress who is well-loved by the American audience. Collins, a native of West Virginia, is a sought-after child star in the ‘30s. She started her career in front of the television at the age of 5 where she played in The Strange Case of Clara Deane. She appeared in several roles in the rest of the ’30. What was considered as her breakthrough role was The Scarlet Letter in 1934 where she showcases her outstanding acting performance. She remained an active young star until the 40s, with Roughly Speaking as one of her best films.

When she reached the age of 18, Collins retired from acting to pursue getting a degree in college. Many wished that she will make a comeback in the entertainment industry. However, Collins chose to take a normal life. There is only a little information about Collins’ life after Hollywood except for the fact that she married an owner of a large ranch in Nevada. Collins is now 94 and is happily retired with family.
