Robert Redford – 84

Robert Redford started his acting career on TV and film in 1960, almost 60 years ago. He has starred in classics such as The Sting, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Candidate, and The Way We Were, all of which earned him praise from critics and moviegoers. He helped kick off the Sundance Film Festival, which has flourished into one of the most prestigious events in the film industry and a fantastic platform for independent filmmakers.

In August 2018, Redford announced that his starring role in the upcoming crime comedy The Old Man & the Gun would bring his long and distinguished acting career to an end. He was subsequently nominated for the 2019 Golden Globe Award in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy category for his role as Forrest Tucker, but lost to Christian Bale.
