Barbara Babcock – 84
Barbara Babcock was a familiar face on TV back in the 1980s. She had become a household name for her role in Hill Street Blues. Her performance here netted her an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress. She later was cast in the show Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, which also earned her a nomination at the Emmy Awards. she spent most of her childhood in Japan, where her father was stationed, then entered several universities growing up. She got her degree at Wellesley College, where she was classmates with Ali MacGraw.
Her debut was in Day of the Evil Gun. It was followed up by more projects like Heaven with a Gun, Bang the Drum Slowly, The Black Marble, The Lords of Discipline, as well as That Was Then…This is Now. Other notable works of Babcock include Heart of Dixie, Far and Away, Happy Together, as well as Space Cowboys.
