Tyne Daly is a known actress who has appeared on various stage performances as well a film. She and her younger brother, Tim, both work as actors. She enrolled at the Brandeis University as well as in the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Following her studies, she became a household name for her performances in the shows, Cagney & Lacey, Judging Amy, as well as The Enforcer. She even appeared in her brother’s show, Wings.

The actress has also put investments in her performances on stage plays like Rabbit Hole, Me, Myself, & I, and It Shoulda Been You. She received a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her work in Gypsy. Aside from her acting career, Daly is also known to be a feminist role model. She doesn’t mind looking her age as she prefers to age naturally, so she is not into getting plastic surgery and whatnot.
