Shirley Jones – 87

Shirley Jones is a singer and an actress who had an impressive career behind her. She was named after Shirley Temple, and it was on stage where her acting career took place. Her first role was a minor character in the play South Pacific, but she took on the lead role for Romeo and Juliet. After receiving plenty of positive reviews about her performance, Jones became the go-to star of the 1950s, landing her numerous roles in theaters.

By the 1970s, she was able to transition to television shows successfully. She landed the role of Shirley Partridge for the TV show The Partridge Family, where she also worked with her stepson David Cassidy. She even had her one TV show under her name, but it did not last long. Today, the actress still enjoys the limelight, but being surrounded by her children and her grandchildren was everything she ever hoped for. To her credit, she seems to be one awesome grandma as her grandchildren love to visit her.
