Randy Travis – 61

The American singer-songwriter Randy Travis is one of the country music icons who helped the younger generation experience traditional country songs. Although he had a rough start and missed out on getting a degree, he was able to jumpstart his career with the help of Elizabeth Hatcher. He performed as Randy Ray in 1982 but later signed a deal with Warner Bros. His song 1982 reached the top 10.

He later became part of the Grand Ole Opry back in 1986, which was one of the highlights of his career. Unfortunately, his personal struggles marred his singing career. He was later diagnosed with an illness that led him to lose his voice. Currently, Traivs is working to get his voice back and even performed Amazing Grace in 2016. Last year, he released his first single in a long time entitled Fools Love Affair.
