Jessica Schultz – 36 – Physical Therapy Assistant
Jessica Schultz fell in love with the sport of curling at the early of twelve and went on to earn several accolades and championships. However, her career’s first highlight was when she competed at the Winter Olympics in 2006 with the United States women’s curling team. Schultz had since retired as a competitive world-class curler and bid farewell to the sport in 2018. Outside of her athletic career, she worked in Minneapolis as a physical therapist assistant.
Schultz, now thirty-six-years old, has made it her mission to cultivate her beloved sport of curling in her hometown in Alaska. Her years as an athlete served as an investment when she founded the non-profit curlAK. The group aims to encourage Alaskans to partake in the sport, earning her the title Director of the Women’s National Team & Juniors programs. Given her experience and passion for curling, we’re sure she’ll succeed in taking the sport to greater heights.
