Tippi Hedren – 91

Tippi Hedren is an actress, a model, as well as an animal rights activist who is best known for her works under Alfred Hitchcock. She started out as a model for a department store in her hometown before moving to New York to pursue a career as a model from 1950 to 1961. She has appeared on various print ads and commercials including on the cover of Life Magazine. Her biggest break was when Alfred Hitchcock called her up to ask if she wanted to work with him. She signed a seven-year contract with the director and has since appeared in The Birds and Marnie.

Hedren went on to work in more than fifty films as well as TV shows, including Tiger by the Tail, Mister Kingstreet’s War, and Roar. The latter was produced by Hedren, and it was also the reason as to how she put her investments on the non-profit organization, Roar Foundation, as well as Shambala Preserve.
