Mark Feehily – 40 – Singer

Markus Michael Patrick Feehily was born in May 1980. He started his singing career at a young age in a Church Choir. While he was still in his teens, he was in a band called IOYOU with his friends Shane Filan and Kian Egan. This grabbed the attention of Louis Walsh, a talent manager, and made up the final line-up of Westlife. Their band debuted in 1998 and became a global success topping the charts internationally, touring all over the world, and selling over 55 million records.

Feehily came out as gay in 2005 in a newspaper interview because of stress and constant therapy. Westlife officially disbanded in 2012 which coincided with his breakup, making him more miserable to a degree. After the split, he made solo music, returning to the industry with Fireback in 2015. He is still doing music now and has been happier ever since. He came back to London to his family with a new relationship and shortened his name to Mark.
