John Astin – 91

If there is one versatile actor who has captured thousands of fans, it would be John Astin. He deserves not be forgotten for his works as a film and TV actor and a voice artist. Astin is best known for his role as Gomez Addams in the hit show The Addams Family which aired for two years. He then reprised his role for Halloween with the New Addams Family a decade later and The Addams Family animated series in 1992.

Astin is one of the classic actors whose works remained to be popular until now. It can be recalled that Astin bagged roles for many 60s and 70s movies include Move Over, Darling, Freaky Friday, and National Lampoon’s European Vacation. As an actor, he got a nomination as well for the Academy Award. Astin proved to be versatile in his career as well. Aside from acting, Astin is an educator. He dedicated much of his time to teaching an undergraduate degree program at Johns Hopkins University.
