Eric Braeden & Dale Russell Gudegast – 53 Years

Most audiences would know Eric Braeden best for starring in the long-running soap opera, The Young and the Restless. However, you might be surprised at where he met his lovely wife, Dale Russell Gudegast. No, not a fancy dinner or an industry event. These two met on the set of Combat! in 1964 and have been inseparable since. Russell is best known for her performance in Holiday in the Sun and is an equally famous name in Hollywood.

Despite their combined star power, these pair have managed to keep their relationship quiet low-profile over the years. There were never any issues of separation or problems with personal loans between them. They were married back in 1966 in Brentwood, Los Angeles, and have been together for over 53 years! Their only son, Christian Gudegast, continues his parents’ legacy as a director, producer, and writer.
