Bono & Alison Hewson – 38 Years

You may know Bono as the frontman of the band U2, but he’s also renowned as a philanthropist and investor who owns a vast real estate portfolio. Among his other investments are the Clarence Hotel in Dublin and a private equity firm. From there, he has helped many humanitarian relief organizations and was even dubbed “the face of fusion philanthropy.”

Bono met his wife, businesswoman Alison Hewson, while still teenagers in their native Dublin, long before becoming a famous musician. They walked down the aisle in their early 20s, welcomed their four lovely kids together, and recently celebrated 38 years of union. While Hewson is known for being private when it comes to her family life, Bono shared that their marriage has “been a great ride, a magic carpet ride.” It may be unconventional, but Bono is one of the famous rock stars to only be married once.
