Alex Trebek & Jean Currivan – 30 Years

Alex Trebek was best known for being the long-running host of the syndicated game show Jeopardy! In addition, he also starred in an extensive array of shows as either a player or panelist. For instance, he joined NBC’s Card Sharks and ended up winning the tournament, but that’s not all. He also won the heart of real estate manager Jean Currivan, whom he married in 1990. Together, they share two kids: Matthew and Emily.

The couple first crossed paths in the late ’80s at a party, and the game show host felt sparks and electricity upon seeing Currivan. He then invited her for a dinner date. Despite their 23-year age difference, the couple made it through 30 years of marriage. In his new memoir, Trebek opened up about his love for his wife: “We are one soul in two bodies.”
