Joseph Kay, a well-known artist, created this series. It is broadcast on the CTV channel in Canada, where it originated, and NBC bought the right to air this medical drama series in the United States. The story revolves around Dr. Bashir “Bash” Hamed, a Syrian Civil War refugee who is also the newest addition to the York Memorial Hospital’s resident roster. Hamza Haq plays the lead role, with Laurence Leboeuf, Ayisha Issa, and Jim Watson rounding out an incredible cast.

The series premiered on February 26, 2020, with two seasons and 26 episodes totaling 40 minutes in length. The Canadian series was, to its credit, renewed for a third season by both of the aforementioned media giants due to the undeniable support of its fans, which translated to phenomenal ratings. The excitement among fans is undeniable because of the fantastic news.
