With an impeccable cast, a well-chosen setting, and a good plot, this could have been a very good series. Despite these facts, the series failed to leave a positive impression on its audience. Justina Machado, Todd Grinnell, Isabella Gomez, and Marcel Ruiz are among the cast members of this sitcom. On January 6, 2017, the first episode of the series was released. It only lasted four seasons and 46 episodes. Unfortunately, after months of hoping for a second season, One Day at a Time has been officially canceled.

To begin, the series follows the daily life of a Cuban-American family led by Penelope Alvarez, a veteran of the United States Army Nurse Corps. Meanwhile, the series was created by Gloria Calderon Kellett and Mike Royce, who also has executive producer credits.
