The Society (Canceled)

Having been compared numerous times with the novel Lord of the Flies, Netflix’s The Society tells the story of a bunch of teenagers who must urge themselves to run their community after the disappearance of everyone else in their town. The dilemma began when they arrived from a canceled field trip and discovered that no one else was left in town. Surrounded by a wide expanse of a forest, the world beyond them seemed to be non-existent, where they must find ways to survive with the resources that they have.

The show was released back in 2019 and received a degree of praise from viewers. Although the production of a second season was being processed, it was canceled eventually because of several restrictions.
