Tuca and Bertie (Canceled)

Who says that animated shows are just for kids? We have gotten used to animated shows as cute and cuddly go on adventures but a few are exceptional such as Netflix’s Tuca & Bertie. It follows the relationship between two 30-year-old bird-women who live within the same apartment complex.

Tuca, who is voiced by Tiffany Haddish, is an untroubled toucan who works multiple jobs. Bertie, on the other hand, is a career-oriented song thrush. The show encapsulated the adulthood and maturity of fans that the show went on to take credit for numerous positive reviews. Unfortunately, the show was canceled back in July 2019 after one season. The rights, however, were bought by Cartoon Network who ordered for the release of two more seasons in May 2020 and June 2021.
