Patriot Act With Hasan Minhaj (Canceled)

After a brief stint as a stand-up comedian, Hasan Minhaj, a comedian, writer, producer, political commentator, and actor, began to be recognized for his work in The Daily Show. He debuted in his own stand-up comedy special entitled Homecoming King on Netflix in 2017. A year later, Minhaj started taking credits at a comedy show on the streaming giant entitled Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj, which secured him a slot in Time magazine’s list of 100 most influential people in the world.

In the Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj, the host aims to unravel modern cultural and political practices “with depth and sincerity.” After six seasons, the show had to conclude as it fell victim to the growing restrictions in the coronavirus situation.
