The Crown (Final Season)

While most Netflix shows that claim the top spots are about mystery or love, The Crown stands out as one of the most successful history-themed shows. It follows the life of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom after she marries the Duke of Edinburgh in 1947. Because of the exceptional acting, writing, and production values, critics have held the show in high degree. From the first to the fourth seasons, it received approximately 63 Emmy Award nominations (winning 21) and seven awards for outstanding cast portrayal.

Season 5 of The Crown will be available for streaming in November 2022. The production of the aforementioned season is expected to cost $260 million. Of course, fans can’t wait to see the next season.
