Outer Banks (Renewed)

Nothing can quite compel an audience like a mystery show. It is worth noting that Netflix’s Outer Banks isn’t just a mystery-themed series, it is tinged with some action and adventure. It chronicles the events in a coastal town on the Outer Banks of North Carolina where the divide between well-off seasonal residents and middle-class locals (who are nicknamed “Kooks” and “Pogues,” respectively) is highly apparent. A group of Pogue teenages are highlighted as they attempt to decipher the events that led to the disappearance of their leader’s father.

Having been released in April 2020, the show immediately took credit for a People’s Choice Award for The Bingeworthy Show of 2020. New (and old) fans can expect a third season; filming began early in 2022.
