I Am Not Okay With This (Cancelled)

Coming-of-age shows are frequently praised because they seem to connect with viewers at the same stage of maturity but on a completely different level—Netflix’s I Am Not Okay with This, to some degree, does just that. The show, based on the novel of the same name, follows a teen as she gradually comes to terms with the complexities of high school, family, and her sexuality, all while discovering her new superpowers. The story is a roller coaster ride, to be sure.

The show debuted in February 2020 and has received a lot of positive feedback, especially for the outstanding acting of stars Sophia Lillis and Wyatt Oleff. The streaming giant was set to renew the aforementioned series, but this did not go as planned due to unforeseen constraints.
