No Good Nick (Cancelled)

Following the conclusion of the first season in 2019, Netflix released an official statement confirming the cancellation of the second season of No Good Nick. The comedy-drama series follows 13-year-old Nicole “Nick” Franzelli, who was raised by her father, Tony, owner of the popular Franzelli’s restaurant in Oregon. Later on, its rival, Liz Thompson, opens the Crescendo Restaurant, and her family uses dirty tricks to drive the Franzelli’s out of business.

The TV show received mixed reviews, and it was difficult to categorize No Good Nick‘s genre. Despite the fact that it stars veteran child actors from Disney, Nickelodeon, and Freeform, the series contained themes that are more appropriate for adults, such as drama and violence. Fans would have liked to see another season to see how things progress, but Netflix had other plans. Eventually, it was made clear that the series was not included in their investment planning.
