Blood & Water (Renewed)

Blood & Water is a South African teen drama television series that tells the story of a high school girl named Puleng, portrayed by Ama Qamata, whose sister Phume was kidnapped by a human trafficking network shortly after birth. On the day of her sister’s birthday, Puleng was invited to a party of a popular Parkhurst College student-athlete, Fikile Bhele, portrayed by Khosi Ngema. A new acquaintance, Wade (Dilon Windvogel), points out their resemblance, and Puleng starts to suspect that Fikile may be her sister. She eventually transfers to the elite school and begins to investigate deeper.

For many weeks, the series stayed at the number-one spot of the streaming service Netflix, and its executives even praised it as well—credit to its storyline. Fans and critics alike also expressed their delight in the high-school drama. As a result, Blood & Water got its well-deserved third season renewal, and the production began on April 06, 2022.
