HEARTSTOPPER (NEW)

Netflix has completed production on a new teen LGBTQ romance drama series called Heartstopper, further cementing its degree as the leading destination for young adult entertainment. The new series will premiere on Netflix worldwide in April 2022 and has an air time of 30 minutes. Kit Connor will play Nick, a famous year 11 student who makes friends with Charlie. However, as their friendship grows, they both begin to question if there could be more between them.

Heartstopper is based on Alice Oseman’s graphic books about two guys who meet in a British grammar school and develop affection for each other. What follows is a lovely and profound novel about love, life, and friendship. It contains all of Nick and Charlie’s little stories that add to something bigger. Heartstopper began as a webcomic on Tumblr and Tapas, where it quickly became a phenomenon.
