Heirs to the Land and Anatomy of a Scandal isn’t the only must-watch series that’ll come to Netflix this April 15. It will also mark the release of the much-awaited drama Mai, which is Atul Mongia’s latest creation, and it’ll feature acting credits from decorated actors such as Sarika Singh, Jay Shanker Pandey, and Prashant Narayanan. It’s certainly a highly-intriguing series that’s undoubtedly a must-watch on the streaming platform.

Mai’s plot revolves around a grieving mother who later discovers the criminals behind her daughter’s untimely demise. As a result, she then transforms from a meek woman into a merciless individual who wants to get to and discover the real story. In the process, this middle-aged woman will encounter a mafia leader who she soon eliminates, marking her unwitting entry into the underworld. Upon eliminating the mafia leader, she also develops a cult that slowly gains renown.
