A new Strawberry Shortcake series will also come to Netflix this April, and this time, Strawberry Shortcake is traveling to the Big Apple City. Big Apple City is where all the biggest and the most prominent names in baking go to get their big break. She goes to the Big City along with her adorable cat, Custard, and she gains new “berry besties” in Orange Blossom, Blueberry Muffin, Lemon Meringue, Lime Chiffon, and many more.

There’s no question that the fans of the original Strawberry Shortcake franchise won’t find many remnants of the old-school rendition here. However, the creators of this new series deserve a ton of credit for their masterful rendition of the beloved childrens’ series. We simply can’t wait to watch these entrepreneurial girls run their highly fabulous food trucks. This series will certainly fill your day with a lot of laughter and singing as the show’s main characters strive to “bake this world a better place.”
