Heartland (Renewed)

Well, here’s another series based on a novel. In 2000, author Lauren Brooke began her Heartland novel series with Coming Home. Since then, she has released more than a dozen installments, with the last one being A Summer to Remember, which was released back in 2008.

A year before A Summer to Remember was published, Heartland was given the signal to make its way to the small screen. For the most part, the TV series with the same name is pretty faithful to its source material. However, its degree of resemblance ends when the setting is considered: instead of Virginia, the TV series takes place in Alberta. Since its premiere on October 14, 2007, Heartland has been aired on multiple platforms, one of which is on Netflix’s streaming service. Although Netflix gets the episodes a few months after being released on TV, fans can now watch Heartland’s fifteenth season on the streaming platform.
