Squid Game (Renewed)
One good thing about the streaming giant Netflix is that a significant degree of its content isn’t just focused on Hollywood creators but from all parts of the globe. Among them, the Korean Squid Game is worth mentioning. A creation of Hwang Dong-hyuk, the series follows a competition between 456 players who are in deep financial debt. The objective is to survive an array of deadly children’s games in order to win ₩45.6 billion, which is roughly equivalent to $38 million.
After it was released back in September 2021, Squid Game became the platform’s most viewed programs in over 90 countries and has attracted over 1.65 billion viewing hours four weeks after its release. Fans are to expect another season, which will be released in 2024.
