Ellen’s Game of Games (Canceled)
It’s quite interesting to learn that Ellen DeGeneres and NBC won’t be teaming up again for another season filled with an excessive degree of fun and games. Her show Ellen’s Game of Games has been airing on NBC for over four seasons has been canceled. Interestingly, this cancelation also coincides with the conclusion of Ellen’s award-winning daytime talk show, which is slated to come to an end this upcoming spring.
Ellen served as the host and executive producer of this one-hour television show. It featured supersized versions of the most popular games featured in her alternative series The Ellen DeGeneres Show. This series also features Stephen Boss who joined DeGeneres in overseeing the contestants while they engage in different games over four rounds. It’s also worth noting that those four rounds all lead up to a final round called the “Hot Hands,” which gives a player the chance to win $100,000.
