F Is For Family (Ended)

The animated series F is for Family is the brainchild of comedian Bill Burr and Michael Price. It is loosely based on Burr’s childhood experiences during the early ‘70s. The idea for the series came along during his 2014 special.

The show follows a foul-mouthed Korean War vet named Frank X as he raises his family, and adjusts to civilian life while working as a baggage handler. At the same time, his wife, Susan, struggles with her business. F is for Family premiered back in December of 2015, and along its five seasons, the show starred Laura Dern, Justin Long, Debi Derryberry, and Haley Reinhart, among others. The show was well-received by the audience for five seasons. However, in October of 2020, Netflix announced that they would make their final investments for its fifth season.
