Drunk History (Cancelled)

Drunk History was one of the most popular shows on Comedy Central. The educational comedy series was based on a Funny or Die web series, developed by Derek Waters and Jeremy Konner back in 2007. The two would also be credited for serving as the show’s executive producers alongside Will Ferrell and Adam McKay.

As the title suggests, the show is about different historical events recounted by an inebriated narrator. Through its six seasons, the series has featured stars like Tim Baltz, Sarah Burns, Maria Blasucci, and Tymberlee Hill. Since its premiere back in July of 2013, the show has enjoyed positive reviews and has even garnered multiple Emmy award nominations. Sadly, in August of 2020, while the cast and crew were filming the show’s seventh season, Comedy Central announced that they will have to cancel the show due to COVID restrictions.
