Castle Rock (Canceled)

When people hear that a horror film or series is based on a Stephen King novel, they know it will be good. To the creators of Castle Rock’s credit, they did deliver on that expectation. The show debuted in July of 2018 and is available on Hulu. It starred Andre Holland, Bill Skarsgard, Melanie Lynskey, and Jane Levy, among others. Furthermore, the second season featured Lizzy Caplan, Barkhad Abdi, Paul Sparks, and Tim Robbins.

Castle Rock exceeded everyone’s expectations, receiving an 88 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Despite the positive reviews, fans were left disappointed because the third season was never announced. The show was canceled for a variety of reasons. The show’s creators, however, revealed that they intended for the series to end after Annie Wilkes’ story concluded in the second season.
