Filthy Rich (Canceled)

Filthy Rich was a drama that Fox had high hopes for. It did, after all, star Kim Cattrall as Margaret Monreaux. The network marketed the show as a gothic family drama with an outrageous soap opera plot. The show centered on a wealthy southern family who made their money through a Christian-friendly network. When the family patriarch died unexpectedly, three more heirs entered the fray in the hopes of inheriting the empire. In addition to Cattrall, the show featured Melia Kreiling, Steve Harris, and Olivia Macklin.

Sadly, despite a strong cast, the drama series received only mediocre ratings from viewers. Furthermore, the series began with the COVID pandemic. Fox made the difficult decision to discontinue its investment in the series, and it was canceled a month after its premiere. Filthy Rich‘s tenth and final episode aired in November 2020.
